Steve Tsoi, Guitars Alison Taffs, Vocals Bob Addis, Bass Paul Docherty, Drums Rob Mepham, Keyboards & BV's
Who are your favourite guitarists? Easy, Michael Schenker (UFO and MSG).  Fluid and melodic, nothing flashy.  Apart from Steve, it's probably Jimi Hendrix and Mike Oldfield.  Don't tell Bob and Steve but I'm a huge old hippy really! Mostly old school; Jimmy Page, Michael Schenker etc, more feeling than speed! Joe Satriani , John Petrucci , Angus Young and the two cool as you like guitarists from Rammstein. Rick Wakeman, Patrick Moraz and Jean Michael Jarre.
What is your drink of choice? Tea, lots of tea.  Never without a steaming mug when in the studio!  I don't have a drink problem, I only drink when I'm on my own or with other people. Alcoholic you mean?  There's a little list; Pimms and lemonade and Gin and Tonic.  A nice New World Shiraz-Cabernet, 20yr old tawny port and a good dessert wine.  Oh and I'm into malt whiskey and Bourbon as well! Guinness, vintage port, a nice brandy, most red wine, ice-cold Chablis, Pinot Grigio, any bottled lager, I'm not fussy really. Can't beat hot tea or cold water, (except maybe the odd lager or Baileys). Real ale, Guiness and Smirnoff Ice.
Who is your favourite dictator? Augusto Pinochet.  Chilean mass murderer who let us use airbases in Southern Chile in the Falklands conflict.  (Whoa, little bit of politics there...Ed) Probably Mussolini.  I'm into Italian food and so was he, so he can't be all bad. Gaius Caligula.  Mad as you like, shagged everything that moved. Easily and without doubt it has to be my wife Angela. Marvelous dictation.
Favourite food? Pretty much anything except vegetables boiled to within an inch of their lives or anything too close to the ground (duck, chicken, etc) Love Sushi, also proper English food.  You can't beat a really good pie.  I know that's not very sexy and I'm supposed to say seafood or Foie Gras or something but there you are. Cheese (a bit of blue and yellow), pasta, old fashioned Sunday roast, fillet steak Rossini, mmmm!  Definitely no fish! Fish and chips (lots of salt and vinegar) and my wife's apple pie.  Mother-in-law's cheesecake isn't bad either.  What do you mean that sounds rude? "Hello, is that the Lucky Dragon?  Can I place an order, er lemon chicken, eff fried rice and a curry sauce.  How long? 10 minutes, thanks.!
Favourite vocalists? Alison (of course), Eva Cassidy and Geoff Tate (Queensryche) Ladies: Blossom Dearie, K.D. Lang, Sandy Denny, Doris Day and Kate Bush.  Men: Elvis Costello, Donald Fagin (Steely Dan), Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young and Frank Sinatra. I love listening to the oldies; Ella Fitzgerald, Matt Munroe, Frank Sinatra etc. Steve Perry, Francis Dunnery, Geoff Tate, Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie , Louis Armstrong,   Tina Arena, Van Morisson, Neil Diamond , Celine Dion , Ali and the bloke from The Darkness. Glenn Hughes, David St Hubbins, David Craig, Posh Spice (with auto tune).
Favourite city? Bath, love the history and the great evening music scene. London: I've never been anywhere to beat it.  My ideal way to spend a summer evening is walking down the South Bank from Westminster to Tower Bridge stopping for dinner and drinks at one of the amazing restaurants along the way. I spend a lot of time in London but I don't really like it as I prefer the countryside to concrete! I love visiting London but I love coming back home to the quietness of rural Essex. Melbourne.
Least favourite household chore? Picking the weevils out of biscuits is the bane of my life. Ironing, life is too short.  The only way to survive it is Radio 4. Cleaning windows, how boring is that?  And I don't do ironing because of an extremely rare steam allergy. Hoovering my bellybutton . Cleaning the bathroom after my housemates.
Where do you live? In the studio. In a maisonette (how rock and roll!) in calm peaceful suburbia on the borders of East London and Essex. I live in a 3-bedroom semi in Kent.  Sounds boring but I like it.  Not too far from the coast and lovely countryside. In a cardboard box in middle of t' road. In a house.
Pet hates? Manufactured bands, boy bands, no-talent-bands etc, etc.  Ughh!  Politicians; why can't they ever give a straight answer?  Rock on Jeremy Paxman! It changes all the time, at the moment it's probably people who insist on adding up and paying for exactly what they had in restaurants.  I find that excruciating.  Oh and people (=men) who think there is a little fairy that comes in the night to clean the toilet. Far too many to list.  I'm really quite intolerant. I hate pets that clean their genitals in public  I don't do it neither should they! Rudeness, arrogance, stupidity and questionnaires.
What is the meaning of life? A great Monty Python film.  (Oh go on, just one wafer thin mint..) Simple, 42.  Thanks to Douglas Adams for getting us off the hook with that one. I could go on about this all night but I'm not going to. Play nicely together or else.
Musical direction? Onwards and upwards hopefully! North. Up. You have to be a musician to answer this question. I therefore exclude myself on the grounds of playing a non pitched instrument. You mean there's direction involved??
Any bad habits? Apparently I snore but I've never noticed. Getting wound up in the car, saying how I feel a bit too much.  Especially after several glasses of wine in Italian restaurants...ahem. Biting my toenails. This I feel is a highly subjective area. I can be a bit stubborn.
Favourite soap? Imperial Leather or Dove is good but I like the liquid ones too. I was brought up on "The Archers" and I find listening to it incredibly comforting, especially when on the M25.  I don't watch much TV and hate East enders with a passion.  Depressing garbage. I like Simple soap, I find it cleans all those special little places .... Oh you mean TV, definitely Coronation Street. I used to think soaps were for sad people. I still do. I agree with Paul.
What's the first single you ever bought? I remember it well, it was Double Barrel by Dave and Ansell Collins, a heavy reggae tune that got to No1 in 1971 and stayed there for 15 weeks! Centrefold by J Giels Band. Got To Be There by Michael Jackson (very sad) but I was young at the time. Hellraiser by the Sweet. Paul McCartney, Pipes Of Peace.
Favourite book? Animal Farm by George Orwell and maybe A Brief History Of Time by Stephen Hawkin (for the tenth time).  The chapter on superstring theory is mindblowing. How can you chose!  Tons of amazing ones, can I have a few?  Perfume by Patrick Suskind, A Prayer For Own Meany by John Irving, 1984 by George Orwell, Germinal by Emile Zola, Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austin, Harry Pot......that's enough-Ed. The Guinness Book of Hit Singles and Hollywood Babylon by Kenneth Angers. I am the drummer and therefore cannot read.  I do like a nice picture though. Any Asterix book or any top shelf book.
What toothpaste do you use? Colgate.  How do they get the stripes in toothpaste? Arm and Hammer the baking soda one. Macleans. Aquafresh. I like the pretty colours. Vim.
How hard are you? 4H. Not at all, total big girls blouse.  But I will try eating anything once so that's quite tough I suppose... Just hard enough to get by. Metal to the core!!! Nails.
Have you got any siblings? Yes, but I'm seeing a doctor about them.  But seriously, I have a younger brother Dave who used to be our chief roadie and sound man. A younger brother called Keith.  He's studying for a degree in politics at Birkbeck and can tell you who the MP is for any constituency in the UK.  Bless his heart. One older sister Carol.  I don't see her as much as I should even though she's only 10 minutes away but I do love her. Younger sister Lynn. No but sh****d a few.
Favourite saying of the moment? "That's so not cool!" "That's a bit lumpy", meaning expensive.  Traders say it about commodities apparently. "Turn it in" seems to crop up all the time and I like to hear people saying "Here's the five hundred quid I owe you". "Could you hear that OK?" "Don't worry about this round, I'll get it."
What are your earliest musical memories? Miming with a tennis racquet to "Sabre Dance" by Dave Edmunds. Dancing around to "Tijuana Taxi" with the gatefold sleeve pin-up of Herb Alpert. I used to live in a top floor council flat and me and my friend Roy used to stamp around to "Bits and Pieces" by the Dave Clark Five annoying the people who lived downstairs.  Great fun! My mum playing the full album version of Donna Summer's "Love to Love You Baby" to try and get me and my sister to go to sleep.  Top record! Playing Bobby Shaftoe.
Top tip? TV remote control batteries getting low?  Take off the battery cover and roll the batteries to and fro with your fingers.  Extra 2 days on batteries!! Always tip your waiter or you will suffer the consequences later. Never believe instructions that say "easy assembly". Do not eat yellow snow.
